Gracie's Cottage is a beautiful stone bulit traditional cottage, virtually on the sea shore. All the main rooms look out over Loch Kishorn to the Applecross hills. The cottage is warm and very comfortable and is in an idyllic part of the west coast; beautiful scenery and sparsely populated but with a seafood cafe within walking distance, and several other good eateries within easy driving distance.

Gracies Cottage is a traditional stone built cottage, on the shore of Loch Kishorn (a sea loch) with a magnificent outlook to the Applecross hills and the famous Bealach-na-Ba (Pass of The Cattle) across the water. The cottage has been completely renovated to a very high standard, but retains its original features and provides very comfortable accommodation for up to four people.

This is one of the most beautiful areas in the west coast highlands of Scotland, with rugged hills sweeping down into the sea, and the Isle of Skye's Cuillin Mountains in the distance. Many people come here just to relax and re-charge their batteries away from the stresses of modern life. Others, including walkers, climbers, boating enthusiasts, fishermen, cyclists, photographers and lovers of wildlife come to take advantage of the many outdoor possibilities available.

You can walk for miles, straight from the cottage, and probably won't see anyone all day. Serious walkers will want to climb some of the local Munros and visit Torridon - with Liathac, Bein Eighe and Beinn Alligan only about half an hour away. There are lovely gardens to visit at Attadale and Inverewe, and several really good restaurants - in addition to pubs in Lochcarron, Applecross and Shieldaig. The Kishorn Seafood Bar is within easy walking distance, and serves local shellfish and crustaceans simply and deliciously. Wildlife abounds and you will lie in bed at night listening to the oyster catchers and geese calling on the shore as the tide comes in.

Accommodation:

On the ground floor is a large, sunny sitting room with a wood-burning stove and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is modern and has everything you might need in a self-catering cottage. Both rooms look directly onto the loch, so have amazing views. There is a separate utility room with a drying area. The large downstairs bathroom has a bath, electric shower, basin, wc and heated towel rail. Upstairs there is a pretty double bedroom and twin room - both with the loch view. There is also a bathroom with a wc, basin and heated towel rail.
