Camisky Lodge is a beautiful Victorian self-catering lodge set within five acres of private land near Torlundy, Fort William and has been fully refurbished to offer luxury accommodation for a big group. Built in 1870 as the primary fishing lodge for the River Lochy, Camisky Lodge was once host to the Prince of Wales and Mrs Simpson who stayed at the lodge in 1935 for a week's holiday.
The surrounding area is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. With spectacular beaches and sheltered coastlines, forests and mountains, lochs and glens, the Inverness-shire landscape is a great place to get out and enjoy yourself - be it fishing, deer stalking, golfing, skiing, climbing, boating and much more.

Accommodation:
On the ground floor of this spacious house there is a drawing room, sitting room, morning room and dining room all with open fires and a study. A big conservatory porch with drying cupboards is ideal when returning from outdoor adventures and there is a dogs' room with a sink (dogs are welcome but restricted to the ground floor only). The kitchen is equipped with a four-oven electric Aga and two warming ovens, a large fridge and dishwasher. The butler's pantry is equipped with a sink, a second dishwasher, a fridge for drinks, wine racks and cupboards for china. There is a large walk in larder and a scullery and wash room with tumble drier, washing machine and two deep freezers. There is also a downstairs WC.
On the first floor are seven bedrooms, three with ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a Jacobean four poster double bed with ensuite bathroom. One further double room and one twin room have ensuite bathrooms. Two further double rooms have ensuite bathrooms. There are 4 more twin bedded rooms and two further bathrooms. Linen and towels are provided and the beds made up before arrival.
The Lodge has oil fired central heating throughout with lots of hot water. It also benefits from a Blue Ray television, Bose sound system and DVD library. Guests have the use of the Broadband internet connection.
Outside there is parking space for several cars and 5 acres of rough private grounds to explore.
Directions:
From Fort William take the road to Inverness (A82). After about 2 miles outside the town you pass The Inverlochy Castle Hotel on your left and then you take the left hand turn to Camisky and Tomaharish. This is a single track road. After two miles take a left hand turn - marked Camisky Lodge and the house is at the end of the road.
What's included:
Oil central heating and a starter supply of coal and logs are included in the price.
Fresh bed linen and towels provided once a week.

Camisky Lodge is rented out throughout the year.
Weekly lets - from Sunday 4pm to the following Sunday 10am. Short breaks are welcome.
