Set on one floor Fern Lodge offers contemporary living with all modern conveniences. The open plan living area has a rustic and Nordic feel with its wood panelled walls and white kitchen units give a bright open feel to this space. During the summer the surrounding countryside provides stunning views from the French windows and in the winter a wood burning stove provides the perfect focal point for cosy evenings.
Outside the sitting room there is a decked area which is perfect for relaxing while enjoying the great Scottish outdoors.
The wooden themed interior continues into the bedrooms where the beds are all made up with crisp white cotton bed linen. There is a wet room with a steam room off it and the master bedroom has a kingsize bed and en-suite bath/shower room.

The best way to get to Fern Lodge is by car. Edinburgh Airport is 51 miles or 45 minutes’ drive. Glasgow Airport is 64 miles or an hour and ten minutes' drive.
Should you be using a sat nav or google maps, you can enter the following postcode: PH1 3HZ This will take you to the moneydie crossroads. From there follow below directions starting at **
Arriving from the South & Perth
Take the A9 North and exit the dual carriageway on the slip road signposted to Luncarty, turn left onto the B8063 signposted Logiealmond.
After 0.3 miles turn right at Redgorton crossroads to remain on B8063 to Logiealmond.
After 1.5 miles at Moneydie crossroads turn right signposted Bankfoot/Pitlochry Route 77 on a blue National Cycle Network signpost** and after 0.2 miles turn right onto a farm track.
Follow this track for 0.4 miles to Keepers Cottage, Pitlandie Wood.
Drive past the cottage and further down past a shed and store, keep going and you will find Birch Lodge first on the left and then Fern Lodge at the end of the track.
Arriving from the North
Take the A9 and as you pass sign to Dunkeld & Birnam on the left take right turn onto the B867 to Bankfoot.
Continue through Waterloo to Bankfoot until a right turn signed Moneydie.
Follow this for 3 miles, going straight over at the crossroads until you enter the village of Moneydie.
After 50 metres (shortly after a 30 mile sign) take the track on the left (which is unsigned).
Follow this track for 0.4 miles to Keepers Cottage, Pitlandie Wood.
Drive past the cottage and further down past a shed and store, keep going and you will find Birch Lodge first on the left and then Fern Lodge at the end of the track.

All bed, bathroom and kitchen linen are provided. Duvets and covers, towels, and all cleaning materials, toilet paper and bin bags, logs, gas fired central heating and electricity are also included in the rental price along with wood for the wood burning stove.
