Oak Cottage is a luxurious cottage located in the heart of Craggantoul Estate, deep within Highland Perthshire with adventure and walking, biking, mountaineering and water sports activities right on the doorstep!
Craggantoul Estate is nestled at the foot of the mighty Ben Lawers mountain, where the roe deer roam freely and the eagles soar high: the sunsets and sunrises are magical and serene. Guests on the estate have access to some 40 acres of land to stroll through, past the duck pond, orchards, the lake, streams and through the ancient oak forest down to the shores of Loch Tay where fishing is permitted.
The spacious decking area and bubbling hot tub outside Oak Cottage offer spectacular views over the stunning scenery and is the perfect outlook for Craggantoul's wildlife and the ever changing skies over Loch Tay's deep waters. It offers a wonderful place for a romantic getaway and is very popular place for a honeymoon!

Oak Cottage is located within the grounds of a 40 acre Highland estate called Craggantoul with rolling meadows, orchards, duck pond, and ancient oak forest with winding trails down to Loch Tay, where there are fishing rights for trout.
This beautiful newly refurbished log cabin has two spacious double ensuite bedrooms (one king, one twin), and a large open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Both bathrooms have walk in power showers and the master bathroom also has a luxurious free standing bath tub from which guests can soak in the views of the meadows and Loch Tay. The master bedroom also has a TV.
Doors open from the living area and from the master ensuite bathroom onto a spacious decking area for easy access to the private hot tub where guests can enjoy the idyllic beauty of the estate, with unrivalled views over the loch and surrounding meadows.
There is lovely garden furniture and a BBQ on the decking, next to the hot tub - ideal for enjoying the sunshine and the scenery.
Directions:
Craggantoul Estate is easily accessible and is located within two hours of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. From the south, drive up the A9 from Perth, continuing northwards on the A9 towards Ballinluig. Turn onto the A827 to Aberfeldy and continue into Kenmore. Drive through Kenmore and onto the north Loch Tay road. Craggantoul is located approximately 10 miles along this road.

Bed linen - White Egyptian cotton bed linen, White Company throws, gowns and fluffy towels, hand towels and bath mats are all provided.
A hair dryer and luxury hand soap are supplied too.
A welcoming complimentary bottle of wine is provided on arrival.
Also provided are initial supplies of soap, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, washing machine liquid, cleaning products, bin bags and loo rolls and a stocked spice cupboard.
Private hot tub on the decking for the use of Oak Cottage guests.
Cost and availability:
Oak Cottage is rented out throughout the year. During the peak weeks Saturday is the change over day, 10am check out and 4pm check in.
Weekends and short breaks are considered.
