Only twenty minutes north of Inverness but in the heart of the Highland countryside, Little Fyrish is a wonderful place to stay. There are great walks from the doorstep and excellent opportunities for mountain biking too - there are miles and miles of tracks on the estate. It's a great place for a golfing holiday too - 20 golf courses within an hour's drive including Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart, Tain, Golspie and Nairn. Superb fishing is available in season on the River Alness.
Excursions to the castles of Dunrobin and Cawdor, local distilleries or dolphin watching provide entertainment or for those who wish to rest, why not sit outside and admire the beautiful views. In winter months you can relax beside the log burning stove in a quiet, warm and comfortable house.
The cottage has a private enclosed garden with a lily pond and a deck overlooking the Cromarty Firth.

Self-catering accommodation:
Little Fyrish is a completely self-contained cottage, parts of which date back to the seventeenth century. It has recently been renovated to a very high standard.
All the accommodation is on one level with an entrance hall, cloakroom, large dining kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. The modern kitchen is very well equiped and has a kitchen table too. The sitting room has a wood burning stove (all the logs are free) and doors leading out to the decked area and the garden. The bedroom can be configured as either a super-king or a twin. The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout and provides extremely confortable accommodation.
Outside it has a deck and enclosed, private garden with really beautiful views over the Cromarty Firth.

What's included:
Heating, which is via a biomass boiler, is included along with logs for the woodburning stove.
Pets - 1 dog welcome.
Egyptian cotton white sheets and towels are provided.
