Logie Country House is a 1670s mansion set on a private Scottish country estate dating from 1492, in the heart of the Aberdeenshire countryside. Easily accessible by train, car or plane, the house is only 15 miles from Aberdeen. The area plays host to numerous golf courses, restaurants, pubs, every type of country pursuit, is only a short drive from the coast and is a great base to see all of the best that Scotland has to offer.
The luxury 13 bedroom house has an indoor infinity pool, 2 hot tubs, cinema and a gym. The grounds of the estate have miles of walks and cycle paths, all leading from the house. The River Urie, which runs across the front lawn, is renowned for salmon and trout fishing. There is a children's play area with climbing frame, swings and a trampoline and a tree house on the private island.
For the golfer, there are eight publicly accessible golf courses within ten miles, offering a wide choice. Local whisky distilleries include Glen Garioch, Glendronach and Royal Lochnagar, great for a visit and the all important tasting. The area is rich in history and there are several castles to explore which give an insight into an eventful history. Aberdeen is a 20 minute train ride away and offers visitors all the attractions of a cosmopolitan city.

Accommodation:
Logie Country House is a 17th century mansion house on the banks of the River Urie, offering extremely comfortable, relaxing accommodation in a beautiful, unique setting. The accommodation comprises 13 bedrooms in total, with 8 bedrooms in the main house and 5 bedrooms in the guest wing. Whilst the whole of Logie Country House is one establishment, the guest wing and main house are both self contained and are joined by the tower on two floors, allowing guests to be separated if required. All the bedding is duck down with luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets, towels and bathrobes for your comfort. There are several sitting rooms with wood burning stoves and several large 3D HD TVs Sky +HD, Blueray players, Xboxes and much more. There are two kitchens with American fridge freezers, range cooker, Aga, dishwashers, induction hobs, steam oven, coffee machine, microwave and all mod cons. There is a cinema as well as a 9 metre indoor swimming pool with seating around it - what more could you ask for?!
Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with huge gas BBQ and outdoor furniture. The courtyard is frequented by red squirrels, owls and woodpeckers. There is a well equipped gym in the old game store and two 8 person outdoor hot tubs. The house is very warm and comfortable and is heated by a eco solid fuel boiler.
The house sits in 130 acres that include ancient woodland filled with wild flowers, which are carpeted with snowdrops, daffodils and bluebells as the seasons change. The south facing lawns to the front of the house run down to the banks of the River Urie and a private island, reached by foot bridge. There are three standing stones dating back thousands of years and carved with weathered Pictish symbols. There is a private island (perfect for picnics!) with a tree house for the kids. The gardens are home to red squirrels, deer, otters, ducks, chickens and badgers. There is a children's play area next to the stables. Guests are welcome to bring their dogs.
