The ferry leaves from Oban daily to visit Mull and Iona and a number of other Hebridean islands as well.
Kilmore is a vibrant community with an annual Highland Games which attracts top athletes and dancers. The church dates back to 1876 but there are also ruins of the original church built in 1450. There are several other historically important sites in the area including crannogs in Loch Nell and a Serpents Mound burial cairn on the shores of the loch. Argyll has some glorious gardens to visit as well as castles and distilleries. The Oban area is a perfect part of Scotland for a self-catering holiday - and these stunning thatched cottages are just idyllic!

Directions to Kilmore, Oban:
From Glasgow take the A82 to Crianlarich, then take the A85 (signposted Oban). From Oban take the A816 south to Kilmore.
Holiday cottages are open all year round. Change over days are often flexible with check in from 4pm and check out at 10am.
