The assessment of self-catering holiday accommodation gives an indication of cleanliness, hospitality, service, ambience and accommodation standard.
There is a scale of 1-5 Stars, and gives reassurance about the quality you can expect before you arrive at your Scottish holiday accommodation.
Many cottages have been graded by the STB,
it is not a criteria for being listed on this site, but you may find it helpful and reassuring to note the following;
