This is a delightful holiday apartment within a grade B listed Clocktower Building, situated on the outskirts of Perth at Huntingtowerfield. This warm, comfortable holiday accomodation is modern, tastefully decorated and in a perfect central position for visiting Perthshire and much of Scotland. An 11th century millstream runs through the garden with the original mill wheel on the fringe, which unfortunately makes it unsuitable for children.
The Garden Flat is ideally situated for sightseeing, walking, fishing and golf. Perthshire has over 40 golf courses, including Gleneagles which is only a 15 minute drive from the Clocktower. St Andrew's and Carnoustie are 1 hour away - so you will be spoilt for choice if you are coming on a golf holiday in Scotland. The river Almond is a short walk along the millstream path which borders the Clocktower and it feeds in to the nearby River Tay with its famous salmon beats - there is lots of loch and river fishing in the area. The 12th century Huntingtower Castle is a short walk away.
Across the road are the grounds of the 4-star Huntingtower Hotel (great to eat in if you don't want to cook on your self-catering holiday!), and a 5 minutes drive will take you to the wonderful Gloagburn Farm Shop and Restaurant. Perth has some excellent restaurants, Scone Palace, Scotland's Garden, Scone Race Course, St John's Kirk, the Black Watch Regimental Museum, leisure and fitness centres and many speciality shops.

The Garden Flat is equipped to an exceptionally high standard, and has a private garden with a BBQ area. There are 2 bedrooms - 1 double with en-suite toilet and shower and 1 double or twin. The spacious sittingroom is very comfortable with Television, DVD, CD player. The kitchen is modern with an oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. The accommodation has full central heating. There is an additional bathroom with shower and a dining room.

Welcome Pack is supplied on arrival. Unfortunately this lovely Perthshire self-catering accommodation is not suitable for children because of stream in garden.

From the Perth bypass take the A85 to Crieff and at the end of Huntingtower village take the road to the right hand side down to Huntingtower Hotel and from there you will see the Clocktower on your left hand side.
By rail:
Mainline trains operate to Perth on a regular basis from Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh, Inverness, Dundee & Aberdeen.
