Ninetrees is a delightful cottage on a Strathearn farm, just 6 miles from Perth. The cottage is an ideal location for a holiday as you are in the centre of the country and a perfect position to explore much of Scotland. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling are all within very easy reach - as are the towns and mountains of the Highlands and the West Coast. The farm is traditional mixed arable and stock and there are over 5 miles of walks on the farm itself, as well as delightful picnic spots. Birdlife abounds and there are deer in the parkland - this is a great place for a relaxing holiday in the country.

If you are coming for a golfing holiday then there are over 60 golf courses within an hour's drive: the world-famous Gleneagles is only 20 mins away and St Andrews is an hour's drive. There are also numerous links courses, highland 9 hole courses and other championship golf courses nearby. Fishing in Perthshire is amazing and as well as the Earn and Tay, there is some excellent loch fishing.

If you want to take your horse on holiday with you then this is a perfect spot - there is stabling for your horse, an all weather riding school, show jump and a cross country course. You cannot hire horses or ponies and it is not a riding school - but if you want a holiday with your horse then Stratherarn holiday cottages are ideal. Perthshire has lots of things to do with children and they will love the freedom of being on a farm.

Accommodation:
This lovely 4 star self-catering cottage is very well equipped and has extensive views along the valley to the mountains beyond. The kitchen has everything you will need, and is open plan with the sitting room. There is a very comfortable double bedroom and a further bedroom with 2 twin beds, plus 2 fold-away beds. The bathroom has a bath and shower and the whole cottage is very warm and cosy. The sun terrace is a great place to relax and admire the views.

Directions:
From Edinburgh: Follow the M90 to Perth. At Perth take 1st left and immediately left again (signposted Inverness/Stirling). At 1st roundabout take 2nd exit (signposted Inverness and A85 Crianlarich). Half a mile on take first left on A85 to Crianlarich and Crieff, then travel for 5 miles to Methven. 1 mile beyond Methven towards Crieff take the third turning on left - there is a sign for Strathearn Holiday Cottages.

Ninetrees is rented out year round.
Rental periods are generally Saturday-Saturday: arrival 4pm and departure at 10am.
