Situated in the picturesque Strathardle valley in highland Perthshire
this is a delightful cottage for a Scottish holiday. It is a Victorian
cottage which has been sympathetically restored to provide excellent
selfcatering accommodation. The cottage is in a pretty, quiet village
which has two good places to eat or drink - the Kirkmichael Hotel and
Strathardle Inn are within easy walking distance,
There are many outdoor activities to do in the area and
Glenshee is only 15 miles away - a great centre for skiing and home to
Scotland's only hang-gliding school. Excellent walking, golf, fishing,
cycling and pony trekking are all nearby. There are also lots of
Scottish castles within easy driving distance (including Balmoral -
home of the Royal Family). The holiday towns of Pitlochry and Braemar
have lots of attractions and Pitlochry also boasts a great theatre.
This is a great place to stay to explore Perthshire and highland
Scotland.
