Keltney Burn Cottage is a beautiful, award winning 3 bedroom cottage on the
banks of the Keltney Burn in the heart of Perthshire, just over 2 miles from
scenic Kenmore and 5 miles from pretty Aberfeldy.
The lovely conservation village of Kenmore lies just over 2 miles away at
one end of Loch Tay (shop, pub, water sports, iron age settlement). At the
other end of the loch the village of Killin (shops, hotels etc.) straddles
the stunning Falls of Dochart. From Killin, Loch Lomond and Scotland's West
Coast are within easy driving distance. Just minutes away is Glen Lyon, one
of the loveliest of Scottish glens and teeming with wildlife, including the
elusive capercaillie.
The surrounding countryside is famed for its natural beauty and there are
numerous local attractions and beauty spots including The Birks of Aberfeldy
(stunning waterfalls walk), Soldier's Leap (where a soldier in Bonnie Prince
Charlie's army made a daring leap over a raging river whilst fleeing the
'auld' enemy) and the Fish Ladder in Pitlochry where salmon can be seen
making their annual migration up the river.

This Aberfeldy holiday cottage is an idyllic place for a self-catering holiday in Scotland!
Accommodation:
Keltney Burn Cottage is part of a 200 year old mill which has been
completely renovated to offer warm, bright and spacious accommodation which
has been furnished and equipped to an exceptionally high standard.
The
delightful sitting room has a wood burning stove and deep, comfortable
sofas, making it a cosy retreat for all seasons. There are lovely views of
the surrounding countryside and French doors leading to the garden through
which runs the Keltney Burn

The holiday cottage is near Aberfeldy and Kenmore. Glen Lyon and Fortingall are nearby. Full directions will be provided when you book.
What's included:
All bed linen and towels are included. Electricity is
payable by meter reading. A complimentary basket of logs is provided.
Cost and availability.
Rental periods are generally a week Saturday to Saturday - although short breaks are available. Checking in time is usually after 4pm and checking out is by 10am.
