Hidden away in the sleepy estate of Craggantoul, overlooking Loch Tay in the heart of highland Perthshire, Sam's Cottage is a charming former farm steading with private hot tub - the perfect location for a honeymoon or romantic break!
Sam's Cottage sits at the foot of the mighty Ben Lawers mountain overlooking Loch Tay, the tenth highest mountain in Scotland, where the roe deer roam freely and the eagles soar high. The sunsets and sunrises in this part of the world are magical - and where better to enjoy them then from a hot tub! Guests have access to around 40 acres of land to stroll through: orchards, a duck pond, a loch and streams and an ancient oak forest which leads down to the shores of Loch Tay, where fishing is permitted.
The area has something to offer to everyone! From watersports and fishing to the visitor centre and nature trail at Ben Lawers, the Crannog centre at Kenmore, golf course, castles and distilleries. The area is rich in history, wildlife, activities and attractions. It is also a perfect place to stay if you just want some peace and quiet away from it all.

Accommodation:
Sam's Cottage is a lovingly refurbished farm steading dating back to the 1800s, combining the olden day crofting charm of the exterior with modern day comfort and luxury inside. The king sized oak bed with its luxury memory foam mattress for ultimate support, looks out over the surrounding meadows and Loch Tay.
The cottage is furnished with soft cream woollen carpeting, a comfortable sofa and deep armchair positioned to take in the breathtaking views, as well as a modern kitchen with everything you need on a self catering break.
The bathroom is equipped with a spacious walk in power shower to revive guests after a day on the mountains!
Outside Sam's Cottage is a bubbling hot tub for two, the perfect place to enjoy the magical views over the Loch Tay scenery.
Directions:
Craggantoul Estate is easily accessible and is located within two hours of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.
From the south drive up the A9 from Perth, continuing northwards on the A9 towards Ballinluig. Turn onto the A827 to Aberfeldy and continue into Kenmore. Drive through Kenmore and onto the north Loch Tay road. Craggantoul is located approximately 10 miles along this road.
From the west, follow the A85 to Killin and then follow the A827 north loch road. Craggantoul is located approximately 7 miles along this road.
From the north drive down the A9 to Ballinluig. Turn onto the A827 to Aberfeldy and continue into Kenmore. Drive through Kenmore and onto the north Loch Tay road. Craggantoul is located approximately 10 miles along this road.
