Tucked away in the high meadows of the highland estate of Craggantoul, Ben Lawers Rest is a charming holiday cottage offering panoramic views over Loch Tay and the surrounding woodland.
The luxurious two bedroom property sits at the foot of mighty Ben Lawers, the tenth highest mountain in Scotland. Guests have access to some 40 acres of ancient woodland including private orchard, secluded oak forest walks, loch frontage and fishing rights.
Highland Perthshire is renowned for its wealth of historical sites, natural beauty and wildlife. This is an ideal base for touring and sightseeing around the Highlands and Central Scotland. There are a whole range of activities available locally including hill walking, golf, horse riding, bird watching, fishing, sailing, white water rafting and other watersports for the active and adventurous. There are also some more gentle activities including walking, scenic tours and visits to castles and distilleries. The area has more than its share of distilleries from Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery, Edradour in Pitlochry to the Famous Grouse Centre near Crieff.

A charming, luxury log cabin nestled within the heart of Craggantoul Estate, Ben Lawers Rest has two spacious double ensuite bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and the other with two single beds. The two bathrooms are equipped with showers and baths to sink into at the end of the day and luxurious fluffy towels too.
The light and airy holiday cottage has neutral and contemporary furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen with all the mod cons! From the large living area, doors open onto a spacious decking area from which to enjoy the idyllic beauty of the estate, with unrivalled views over the loch and surrounding hillside. And if enjoying the views from the decking is not enough, how about soaking them in from the private hot tub in front of the cottage?
Directions:
Ben Lawers Rest is easily accessible and is located within two hours of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.
From the south drive up the A9 from Perth, continuing northwards on the A9 towards Ballinluig. Turn onto the A827 to Aberfeldy and continue into Kenmore. Drive through Kenmore and onto the north Loch Tay road. Craggantoul is located approximately 10 miles along this road.
From the west, follow the A85 to Killin and then follow the A827 north loch road. Craggantoul is located approximately 7 miles along this road.

Heating and electricity are included.
Crisp, white Egyptian cotton bed linen and fluffy bath towels, hand towels and bath mats are provided. Also supplied are a hairdryer, luxury hand soap, spice cupboard, initial supplies of loo roll, bin bags, dish washer tablets and washing up liquid.
Ben Lawers Rest is rented out throughout the year. During the peak seasons, the property is let on a weekly basis and the change over day is Saturday. Check in time is 4pm and departure time is 10am.
Ben Lawers Rest is also available for short breaks for a minimum of 2 nights out of peak season.
