Fort William is known as the outdoor capital of the UK, and is situated at the base of Ben Nevis � the UK�s highest mountain. Lochaber boasts some of the most breathtaking scenery in the UK, and whether you like outdoor sports or gentle rambles, there�s something for everyone. Depending on the time of year you visit the area, you can enjoy skiing down the Nevis Range, canoeing along many of the local rivers, or you could try and climb or walk up �The Ben�. There are miles upon miles of walks of varying degrees � follow the West Highland Trail, take a walk around Glenfinnan (site of the railway bridge as seen in the Harry Potter films), follow woodland trails to beautiful waterfalls. Visit the �Parallel lines� � shorelines etched high into the hillsides by glaciers from the ice-ages.

Fort William is the ideal base location for touring the western highlands and islands of Scotland. It is well situated for visiting Loch Ness in case you want to do a bit of �Nessie� spotting, or visiting the islands and enjoying the sights of the wildlife such as dolphins, otters, puffins and eagles. There�s plenty of places around for the kids to visit too, from Landmark (an adventure playground) to Safari Parks, miniature railways, Ten Pin Bowling and more� Not to mention the myriad of distilleries and whisky tasting centres for the adults! Once you visit this fantastic area, you�ll never want to go home!

There are many pubs and restaurants in the town centre. Some of the restaurants serve local produce such as seafood, venison etc. Locally, there is "High Street" shopping with plenty of gift shops. The house is set in � acres of garden and grounds, and has its own private car park for 4 cars.

Accommodation:
Loch Leven House can accommodate up to 8 people in great comfort and is equipped as follows:- Ground Floor - Sitting room with TV, DVD player & Sky Digital with Freeview (you are welcome to bring your own Sky Digital viewing card if you have one - just remember to take it home again!). There is a large dining room and a kitchen with fitted breakfast bar, electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. The washing machine and tumble drier are located in the utility room. Also downstairs is one double bedroom and a separate cloakroom with wc and basin.


First Floor - The first floor has three further bedrooms, one double room with basin, one double room with en-suite shower room and one twin room with en-suite shower room. There is a separate bathroom with bath and a hook up shower).

The house is centrally heated throughout and all fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rental price. A cot and high chair are provided but young children may require supervision. The house has a rule of no pets. Outside there is a garden with patio furniture, woodland, sloping bank and terraces. There is off-street parking for 4 cars.


Location:
Travelling north from Fort William, follow the A82 until you reach the sign for the A830 towards Mallaig. Turn left at the traffic lights (immediately before the BP Petrol Station) and follow this road for approximately 1� miles. Turn right when you reach the signs for Banavie, then take a sharp left, then left again. Continue until you reach the end of the road. Loch Leven House is the last house on the right. There is a cattle grid at the entrance to the drive.

Central heating is included in the rental price and all bed linen and towels are provided.

The cottage is rented out year round - Change over day is a Saturday with check in at 4pm and check out by 10am.
