Bella Vista is set in a prime location within the beautiful sleepy
coastal village of Powfoot in the unspoilt region of Dumfries and
Galloway. This suprisingly spacious property is part of an Historic Scotland Category B listed terrace built in 1898 and
offers an ideal base to explore the Solway Coast
Heritage Trail. Set back only a few yards from the beach, and
commanding uninterrupted sea views, the cottage has its own
private
front garden with patio area and garden furniture. An outbuilding is
also available to store cycles and golf equipment - there are lots of
nearby cycle tracks and a links golf course just a stroll away so you
are ideally placed!
Tastefully presented, the holiday cottage retains many
original features. The border
town of Annan is only 3 miles away with its distinctive clock tower
and red sandstone buildings. Easy day trips to Dumfries, Moffat,
Carlisle or North Lakes are all possible, or explore the nearby
Border country further. There are many local places of interest and
activities, too numerous to mention, but comprehensive
information is
supplied in the holiday cottage. Bird-watching, fishing, walking,
cycling and golf are very
popular, and with the beach on the doorstep this is an ideal place
for a holiday with children too.

Accommodation:
This is a stylish seaside holiday cottage in the picturesque
Dumfries village of Powfoot. There are two double bedrooms (one
bedroom has a curtained partition with a
single bed to sleep an extra person), living room with open fire,
formal dining room, well equipped kitchen, fridge/freezer, washer/
dryer, microwave. All electric heating plus open fire. Bathroom with bath
and separate shower cubicle. Colour tv, radio, video, DVD/CD player and X box available.
Directions:
Powfoot is 3 miles west of Annan, directly on the Solway Firth
coast.
What's included:
All bed linen and towels are provided. Electricity and solid
fuel are included.
Cost and availability.
The cottage is rented out year round. Short breaks are
welcome.
Weekly lets are generally Saturday-Saturday; arrival 4pm
and
departure by 11am.
