Pittenweem is a very special little Fife fishing village. With a working harbour, daily fishmarket and a long history in arts and crafts it oozes charm. It is the perfect place from which to explore the picturesque East Neuk � including St Andrews, Elie, St Monans, Anstruther and Crail. It�s easy to spend time exploring and browsing the galleries, antique and craft shops of Pittenweem. The highlight of the art year is the annual Pittenweem Arts Festival in August where upwards of 70 locations (from front rooms to garages) stage exhibitions of local artists and the village buzzes with visitors viewing the exhibitions and soaking up the great atmosphere.

Puffins� Neuk is just a stone's throw from one of the most stunning parts of the Fife Coastal Path offering beautiful walks with views out to the Bass Rock and the Isle of May. It�s common to see heron, cormorant, and curlew � and in the summer boat trips run to see the puffins on the Isle of May. There are many golf courses, including those at St Andrews, all in easy reach and catering for all levels of golfer. Pittenweem and the East Neuk of Fife offer a great range of eating experiences from takeaways to pubs to fine dining. Puffins� Neuk in Pittenweem is a luxury two bedroom ground floor self catering apartment with great views to the sea. It is located very close to Pittenweem harbour in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife.

Accommodation:
A large south-facing picture window, with French doors leading onto the patio and garden area, gives 'Puffins' Neuk' a very light and bright feel. On a fine day you can dine alfresco, relax over a gin and tonic or simply sit and enjoy the views - you'll find time will pass just watching the fishing boats and seagulls coming and going.

There are two comfortable bedrooms, one ensuite with a king size double bed, and the other with twin beds, next to the family bathroom (with full-size bath). Fresh bedding and towels are provided for every week of your stay.

The living room has two comfortable sofas. For your entertainment there is a large flat screen TV and a DVD/CD player. There is also a TV/CD player/DAB radio in the main bedroom. A selection of DVDs, CDs, games and books is provided for you to enjoy during your stay. The kitchen, living and dining area are open plan - so you don�t have to miss out if you are cooking - and is very well equipped. You�ll find a dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave, gas hob, electric oven and a thoughtfully planned range of accessories from crystal glasses to quality utensils. There are also more child-friendly crockery/mugs available.


With gas central heating and double glazing, you'll be lovely and warm whatever the time of year and the combi boiler means there is hot water whenever you want it. Parking is always easy, with a private parking space and visitor spaces for a second car. You'll have complimentary tea, coffee and a welcome pack when you arrive. A high chair and travel cot are available by arrangement - and there is a small play park within easy reach. Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement.

Location:
Once in the East Neuk of Fife follow signs for Pittenweem which is situated north of Elie and south of Crail on the A915. Abbeywall Road is the only road down to the historic harbour which is well signposted from the A915. Puffins� Neuk is number 30 and is about half way down Abbey Wall Road on the right hand side.

What's included:
Bed linen and fluffy towels are included as is the heating. On arrival you will find a welcome pack - coffee, tea, milk, toiletries, dishwasher and washing machine tablets, and a bottle of wine.


Cost and availability.
The self-catering accommodation is rented out year round.
Change over day is Saturday. Check out 10am, check in 3pm. Short breaks are available by arrangement.
