Totally refurbished and new to the rental market, Baker's Close is a charming and welcoming property set in the famous village of Elie in Scotland, best known for its award-winning, Blue Flag beach, along with its micro climate ensuring (that most of the time) the East Neuk has good and dry weather, and its excellent pubs and restaurants. It�s a well designed property, discretely tucked away consisting of two bedrooms, a bathroom (with shower), a sittingroom and a diningroom. The small patioed garden gets the sun from 10 in the morning (in the summer months) and is attractive with garden furniture and plenty of storage space for golf clubs, bikes etc.

Just over the road from the beach and all that Elie has to offer in ways of shops, bakers, gift shop, coffee shop, delicatessen, pharmacy, newsagent, general grocers store, fruit and vegetable store etc � it�s all there right on your doorstep. Once you�ve parked your car, you don�t need to get back into it for the duration of your stay! Elie also offers a wide variety in the way of catering, from the fabulous fish and chip van that visits the village, to the Ship Inn which was listed in the top 5 of the top Scottish Pubs 2007, along with Sangsters restaurant in the high street that won the AA Restaurant of the year 2006/07 (his most recent award, but they are numerous). Elie also boasts the Elie Deli (serves delicious home made ice cream), several superb coffee shops.

There are two golf courses in the village (there are over 30 golf courses within a 15 mile radius), tennis courts, putting, bowling, sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, diving etc. Numerous mapped walks and cycle paths (check out the ordnance survey map on wall in the diningroom) there is so much to plan and do. With St Andrews only 10 miles away and Edinburgh a 50 minute drive it�s really a very easy location to reach, especially when you think it�s �One of Scotland�s Best Kept Secrets!� So whether you want an action packed break, or just to be able to relax and unwind, we have the perfect property for you.

Accommodation:
This totally refurbished self catering property consists of a spacious kingsized double bedroom with large mirror, shelved wardrobe, bedside tables and great reading lights. The bathroom is next door to this bedroom, beautifully tiled and finished to a high standard, and it has a bath, shower over the bath, wash hand basin and loo. The 'adult sized' bunk room has a sash and case window, mirror and chest of drawers.

The fitted kitchen is full of all quality cooking utensils and pots and all the mod cons, it has a window looking out over the patioed garden. The dining-room has an extendable round table with seating for four, along with a Welsh dresser, telephone and an ordnance survey map of the area adorning the walls.

The sittingroom is a double aspect room which has a three seater settee, separate comfy chair and foot stool, along with a flat screened television (integral DVD player), real flame gas fire and French doors opening out onto the patio. There is now WiFi too!

Location:
Elie is easy to find in the East Neuk of Fife, follow road signs. Once in Elie the property is just over the road from the beach, three doors down from the bakers and diagonally over the road from all Elie�s other amenities.

Included in the rental price are all bed linen, towels etc also a welcome folder (detailed guide to the area, things to do, comprehensive and full list of all the golf courses within the 15 mile radius, local hostelries, shops etc, to allow you to plan your stay before you get here).
