Cellardyke is one of a number of small fishing villages in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife. This cottage, totally renovated to the highest standards (completed September 2007) and tastefully decorated throughout is an ideal base to explore this wonderful part of Scotland. This is a fantastic location for a holiday, with award-winning sandy beaches, world class golf courses, full range of water sports, beautiful coastal walks and many other holiday activities close by. There are numerous pubs and eating places in the area, ranging from the famous �Anstruther Chippie� to award winning seafood restaurants. The historic town of St Andrews is only 15 minutes away.
This part of Fife is also ideal for exploring further a field. It is only an hour's drive to Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth. The area is rich in historical interest with several National Trust properties in the vicinity including Falkland Palace, Culross, Kellie Castle and the Hill of Tarvit. Gorgeous sandy beaches are close by as well of course as the best choice of golf courses Scotland has to offer!

Accommodation:
There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, one twin and one double. The double bedroom benefits from a luxury en suite bathroom. There is a separate bathroom with luxury shower adjacent to the twin bedroom. Both bedrooms have sea views. There is a separate utility room on this level with washing machine and freezer.
There is a splendid wooden staircase leading up to a stunning open plan kitchen/dining and living area. The solid oak kitchen is fully equipped and has an integrated fridge with built-in oven and ceramic hob. The living room area has a feature wood burning stove which along with the solid wooden floors (which are throughout the whole property), just adds to the character of this superb cottage. This spectacular room has some of the best sea views in the area. There are views across the Firth of Forth to Berwick Law, Bass Rock, Isle of May, and along the coast towards Crail. Truly wonderful!
Location:
Follow road signs to Fife and Anstruther then Cellardyke. The cottage is located 50 yards past the old harbour in Cellardyke on the sea front.
