This uniquely designed self catering accommodation was completed in 2007 and offers the highest level of comfort for year round family holidays. Situated just 1.5 miles from the oldest village in Deeside, Kincardine O'Neil, and with the Cairngorms National Park just 8 miles away this is a great location to explore some of the most beautiful scenery Scotland has to offer.

The area boasts a great number of attractions and within easy reach these include numerous castles, the most famous being the Queen's Balmoral Castle at Braemar which is open to the public from April to July. The Cairngorms National Park offers walks which will suit all abilities with many local walks starting in the village of Kincardine O'Neil. Gliding at Aboyne and numerous activities from Go-karting to tank driving at Deeside Activity Park (just 3 miles away).

The River Dee offers some of the best salmon fishing in the world or why not try a half day at one of the many stocked trout fishing ponds. This area of the "Home of Golf" offers some of the most testing and spectacular courses and with 4 golf courses which welcome visitors within 6 miles you will be guaranteed a great day of golf. With distilleries, a cheese factory and shops offering local products you will not be short of ideas for those take home presents. Local hotels and restaurants offer excellent food and great hospitality with entertainment throughout the year.

Accommodation:
This newly built and architecturally-designed chalet offers spacious and extremely high quality self catering accommodation. All furnishing and fittings have been chosen with care to complement the stunning design. There are 2 bedrooms; a master bedroom with king sized double bed and a twin room with added fold down bed. The bathroom is the latest wet room style and is fitted with an 'all body jet spray' shower. It also has under tile controlled floor heating. The stylish open plan kitchen has a full cooker with fan oven, microwave, dishwasher and a large fridge/freezer. In the main living area there is ample seating for 5 people, solid oak wooden flooring and entertainment is provided by a 32in LCD TV with free-sat channels and DVD player. Electrically operated blinds cover the 5 large roof glass panel windows above the living area.

French doors lead out onto a large raised decked area which is ideal for spending an evening overlooking the river as the sun disappears behind Lochnagar. There is also a back entrance to the property with a utility room and a large cupboard which houses the washing machine.

What's included:
All oil and electricity is included in the rental price and bed linen is provided.

Change over day is usually Saturday, but the owners will accommodate Fisher's Sunday to Sunday in some months. Check in is from 3pm and check out is 10am. Short breaks are available in some low season months.
