This comfortable flat is situated on the ground floor of a beautiful
Georgian house, in the conservation area of Portobello. This is ideal
acccommodation for a couple spending a romantic weekend break in
Edinburgh, or for a longer city break. This is good value
accommodation with a double-bedroom looking out over pretty gardens.
The apartment is only 5 minutes walk from a bus stop, with frequent
buses to the city centre (a 15 minute trip).
Portobello is 3
1/2 miles east of the centre of Edinburgh and you can walk along the
lovely beach when you want a change from the culture, sights and
shopping of central Edinburgh. It is a great location too for
exploring East Lothian.
The apartment has a double bedroom, shower-room and a fully equipped
kitchen. If you want to bring your baby or child then a cot or folding
bed can be provided. It is a peaceful and quiet flat in a tree-lined
street, yet near to all that Edinburgh has to offer.

This self-contained holiday apartment has
a well-equipped, modern kitchen and an open plan sitting room with a
dining area. The shower-room has a white suite and an electric shower
- with lots of hot water! It is comfortably furnished with a sofa and
armchair, and has a great range of CDs and videos which you can enjoy
during your stay.
There is unrestricted on street parking -
very convenient if you are bringing your car to Edinburgh. Maps,
timetables and tourist brochures are
provided in the flat. The owners live nearby, and will offer any advice
or assistance you need to make the most of your Edinburgh short break
or holiday.
Directions:
From Edinburgh Airport: The airport is 7 miles west of the
city centre. The frequent airport bus will take you to Edinburgh city
centre, where you can catch another bus to the holiday apartment. A
taxi from the airport to the flat is £17-25, depending on the
time of day.
