This delightful self-catering cottage is situated on the coast, right at the end of the Southern Upland Way, on the John Muir Way and also the Sir Walter Scott Way; and there are many stunning coastal and country walks direct from the cottage. There are lots of other outdoor activities nearby - surfing at Pease Bay, diving at Eyemouth, and scuba diving off North Berwick. You can explore the rock pools in picturesque Cove harbour and enjoy the beautiful beaches - ideal for a family holiday by the sea. Dunbar has a swimming pool with flumes and waves which children adore if you want a change from the coast!
This is a great area for bird watching for puffins at North Berwick (also the North Berwick Seabird Centre with a camera on Bass Rock) and St Abbs. The cottage is within easy reach of all Edinburgh attractions. Visit natural arches in Cove Harbour and the fascinating 40 million year old rock formations at Siccar Point - whether you are an archeologist or not you will enjoy the trip! The Scottish Borders has some fabulous gardens - Dawyck, Monteviot Water Garden, Teviot Smokery Water Garden, and Hirsel Country Park are well worth a visit. Country houses, castles and abbeys abound - Mellerstain, Thirlestain Castle, and Floors Castle are all nearby. There are also a wealth of superb golf courses in the area. The Scottish Borders are steeped in history and the rolling hills, spectacular coastline and friendly people epitomise this part of Scotland.

This delightful self-catering cottage in the Scottish Borders offers idyllic accommodation for 6 by the sea.

This lovely steading was fully renovated in 2006 and has fantastic sea views. Set around a courtyard, upstairs is the living room and kitchen (to take advantage of the views!), and downstairs are 2 twins, 1 double, and 2 shower rooms. There is also a sunny courtyard and car parking,

You will be sent directions to the holiday cottage when you book - it is on the coast 8 miles south of Dunbar.

Rental periods are generally arrival 4 pm departure 10 am - every
