Argyll's wonderful scenery and stunning coastline offers many attractions for visitors and where better to enjoy it from than this luxury house with breathtaking views. There is no shortage of activities nearby, from walking in Glencoe to cycling on Lismore - the area has something to offer everyone, whatever your interests.
Seabank is situated near the small village of Benderloch which is 10 miles north of Oban and less than an hour's drive to Fort William. The harbour town of Oban, 'Seafood Capital of Scotland', has many shops, cafes and excellent restaurants. Ferries leave from here to the islands and it is possible to take a day trip to Mull and other Inner Hebrides islands. Oban Whisky Distillery offers tours and tastings and there are lots of fascinating historic castles to visit in the area, including Dunstaffnage, Castle Stalker and Inveraray.
Another great day out is to take a trip on what's described as one of the great railway journeys of the world - the 'Harry Potter' steam train from Fort William to Mallaig passes over the Glenfinnan viaduct and is an exciting and memorable journey.
Sea kayaking, sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving are popular activities in the area along with whale and dolphin watching boat trips. A cycle track from Oban to Ballachulish is almost complete and for the more adventurous there is downhill mountain biking at Nevis range.
Benderloch has a large sandy beach, perfect for relaxing with family and friends. Whether you want an active holiday or just need to escape from the stresses and strains of life, then this is fabulous place to stay!

Accommodation:
Seabank Lodge is an architecturally designed, luxury cottage which offers spacious and extremely high quality self catering accommodation with one of the finest views on the west coast of Scotland. It has an outdoor Jacuzzi hot tub in the garden. Completed in 2008, Seabank Lodge is a contemporary and stylish cottage accommodating 8 people. The location of the property offers privacy and tranquillity and yet is only 30 minutes drive to the town of Oban. It is a place to escape to and relax with family or friends.
Seabank Lodge has 4 bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with en-suite wheel-in wet room with power shower. The house is suitable for assisted wheel chair users but please discuss any special requirements prior to booking. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom and family bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs there is a king sized bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom.
The large living room with vaulted ceiling has a glazed front wall offering panoramic views over Loch Creran. The sliding glass doors in the dining area lead onto a large decked area with outdoor seating and a barbecue. There is a fully equipped kitchen and utility room. Water is heated by solar power and there is under-floor heating and a wood burning stove.
In front of Seabank Lodge the grounds slope down to the shore of the sea loch, which is ideal for launching small boats and kayaks.
