Tigh na Cladaich (meaning house on the shore) sits on the eastern shore of Loch Tay within the picturesque conservation village of Kenmore. The house, built in 1870, is an exclusive private four bedroom villa set within a large secluded garden with beautiful loch views. This very comfortable accommodation sleeps 8 people with generous living, dining and kitchen areas.
Kenmore is a very attractive small village set below the mountains of highland Perthshire. Situated at the north east head of Loch Tay its beauty, history and wide range of activities makes it a firm favourite with visitors on holiday from all over the world.
Loch Tay is 16 miles long and at its widest is more than one mile wide. Stretching from Killin to Kenmore the loch is shadowed on either side by the Munros of Ben Lawers and Meall Greigh. Loch Tay offers a full range of water sports, including fishing, canoeing, paragliding, rafting, yachting and pleasure boating.
This is a fabulous location for a Scottish self catering holiday and Tigh Na Cladiach offers spacious and extremely well appointed accommodation.

Accommodation:
Tigh na Cladiach is a traditional stone two storey villa. There are four bedrooms on the upper floor, two doubles (one ensuite) and two twins sleeping eight people comfortably with ample wardrobes, dressers and storage space. All bedrooms and the hall are tastefully decorated and carpeted throughout.
Downstairs, the country style kitchen has ample breakfast bar seating and a kitchen table. Cooking is by oil-fired Aga and there is also a microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with all crockery, cookware and cutlery supplied. The large living room has seating for up to 9 people and an open fire to relax in front of.
Also on the ground floor is the dining room which has plenty of
space with a beautiful dresser and wooden floors.
The property has a total of 3 bathrooms, 2 with baths and all with electric showers.
You will be warm and snug with electric central heating and the oil fired Aga - as well as the open fire! The house is fitted with smoke alarms and a fire extinguisher so you will always be safe and there is a large secluded garden from which to enjoy views of Loch Tay.
Directions to Tigh Na Cladiach
From Glasgow/Edinburgh take the M9 north to Perth and then follow signs for Inverness on the A9.
Pick up signs for Aberfeldy and leave A9 at Ballinluig.
Continue approx 16 miles along A827 to Aberfeldy. From Aberfeldy pick up signs for Kenmore which is a further 6 miles. Enter the square and take the small lane to the south west which is to the left of Kenmore Church and continue along the lane to Tigh Na Cladiach.
What's included:
All bed linen is supplied. Heating and oil for the Aga are included in the price as is an initial supply of coal and logs for the fire (further supplies are available at the local shop).
Cost and availability.
Change over day is a Saturday. Short breaks are sometimes available but not during peak time or the Christmas/New Year period.
A £200 good housekeeping deposit is required.
