Great walking from the doorstep - climb The Knock and enjoy stunning views from the top!

Take a tour of Glenturret Distillery and sample their whisky - or for gin lovers there's a new micro distillery nearby too.

Children love Auchingarrich wildlife centre - the hatchery is particularly popular and they can hold baby chicks etc. The Macrosty Park in Crieff is very good, and if it's a wet day then the Ceramic Experience near Muthill will keep children very happy!

Crieff has some great places to eat - Pura Maison, Delivinos and The Gurkhas are excellent.

Innerpeffray Library is a hidden gem for book lovers - and then visit the Leighton Library in Dunblane for another fascinating visit.

Go up the Sma' Glen for amazing scenery and great walking - visit the Buchanty Spout to watch the salmon leaping up if you are staying in October/November.

Nearly all outdoor activities are available in the area - watersports to enjoy on Loch Earn, and zip wires, quad biking etc just a couple of miles away.

Golf courses aplenty - Crieff, Muthill, Comrie are closeby, and Gleneagles is only 10 miles away. You can walk to the Foulford Inn golf course just up the hill - an unusual 9 hole parkland course with stunning views!
