Folds cottage is a delightful converted farmhouse in the glorious Scottish highlands. This is a very peaceful and tranquil location for a holiday with plenty to do in the local area - whisky tasting at the local distilleries, Scottish castles to explore and empty sandy beaches on the Moray coast.

The views from the cottage are dramatic across Glenlivet towards the Cairngorms National Park. The location is wonderful for relaxing or touring the local area. There are also great golf courses, fantastic walking, lots of cycle paths, great fishing and in the winter, skiing. The cottage is in an amazing situation and is very comfortable and well-appointed.

The walking ranges from forest and river walks through the Glenlivet estate to higher hills and mountain climbing.

The holiday cottage is equidistant between Dufftown and Tomintoul (9 miles in opposite directions) and these are pretty villages with good shops and restaurants. Dufftown is at the centre of the Malt Whisky Trail and there are lots of local distilleries to visit.
