Accommodation:
A beautiful newly converted old stable building, with simple décor and tasteful furniture, situated in open farm land only one mile from the sandy beaches at Roseisle on the Moray Firth. Set back away from the single track road with a large private garden and two walled courtyards to sit in and relax – one gets the morning sunshine, the other gets day long sunshine during the summer months. The cosy kitchen was constructed by local craftsmen using local timber.
The large family bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor, and a spiral staircase takes you upstairs to two further bedrooms,
both with outstanding views, and the wet room with shower and WC.
The master bedroom upstairs has a Paris balcony with French doors which can be left open on warm days / nights. A stunning place to look out – by day for the view, by night to look at the stars.
This is a really fabulous self-catering cottage in Moray!
Location:
From the village of Alves on the A96 turn up the lane by the side of Cinderella Fabrics shop.
If approaching from Inverness this is on the left, if approaching from Aberdeen / Elgin it is on the right.
Carry on up the lane for 1.5 miles until you reach a crossroads. Go straight on. The lane now climbs a small hill; at the brow of the hill on the left is a large white house surrounded by beech trees. After that there is a new stone cottage, also on the left.
Turn left immediately past the new stone cottage onto my ‘home made black road’ - you’ll see what I mean when you get there; don’t worry you won’t get stuck.
Follow my little road which will lead you up to the garage with a red door. The front door is along the path to the left.
What's included:
All bed linen and towels, logs for stove, central heating.
Cost and availability.
