Set against a backdrop of spectacular scenery this beautiful newly-built house, located within one mile of the centre of Aviemore, is well furnished and equipped and offers excellent highland holiday accommodation. The house is an ideal base for sightseeing, touring and outdoor activities including mountain biking, golf, fishing, pony trekking, hill-walking and skiing, being close to the Cairngorm and Lecht ski resorts.

Aviemore offers a range of gift and craft shops and outlets geared towards the outdoor enthusiast. There are a variety of cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars with international and local cuisine. Attractions in the area include the Cairngorm Mountain Railway, Loch Morlich for water sports or sunbathing in the summer, working highland estates offering various activities. Within walking distance of the property Dalfaber Country Club offers weekly membership for 15 (10 for children with under 5s free) which has various sporting activities including indoor swimming pool should there be a rainy day.

Nearby is the Highland Wildlife Park which is well worth a visit and there are numerous castles and distilleries to discover within easy driving distance of Aviemore. Inverness is a 30 min drive north giving access to Loch Ness where you can enjoy the spectacular scenery while having a go at spotting the Loch Ness Monster!

Accommodation:
The holiday house has a generous living room with an open fire and is furnished with a leather suite and equipped with TV/VCR/DVD/CD. A separate dining room, which has ample space for 8 people, is open to the modern fitted kitchen which has electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. A separate utility room has washer dryer facilities and can be used as a drying room. The ground floor also comprises a double bedroom and wc with wash-hand basin.

The first floor has a master double bedroom with ensuite shower room, a further double bedroom, a twin bed room and family bathroom with corner bath and separate walk-in shower. The property is modern and furnished to an extremely high standard throughout. This Aviemore self-catering house benefits from a large landscaped garden front and back mainly laid to lawn has adequate parking for 4 cars and also has a garage which can be used to store sports equipment/bikes etc.

Location of Aviemore self-catering house:
Northbound: follow A9 until Kingussie, turn right onto A86 for 170 metres, turn left onto B9152. Follow road through Aviemore, past the railway station and the Tesco. After the Tesco roundabout go 0.7 miles then turn right into Dalfaber Drive (signposted for Dalfaber Country Club). Follow the road over the level crossing then take the 1st left into Spey Avenue, then 2nd right into Dalfaber Park. The house is the second on the left.

Southbound: follow the A9 towards Aviemore, turn left onto A95 at Aviemore signpost, follow for 270 metres then turn right onto the B9152 and follow the road into Aviemore. Turn left into Dalfaber Drive (signposted for Dalfaber Country Club). Follow the road over the level crossing then take the 1st right into Spey Avenue, then 2nd left into Dalfaber Park. The house is the second on the left.

What's included:
Both heating and coal for the open fire are included in the rental price. All linen and towels are provided and children are very welcome.
