This spacious, four star house is situated in Aviemore, the main ski resort in Scotland - so ideal for a skiing holiday. It is also a great location for exploring the highlands at all times of the year. This part of Scotland has lots of things to see and do - with plenty of attractions suitable for children - the nearby Strathspey Steam Railway and Highland Wildlife Park will be very popular. Aviemore has lots of places to eat, a cinema, ice-rink, good shops and is a perfect centre to tour the area from.

Outdoor pursuits abound - the Cairngorm National Park has superb walking and climbing at all levels. Loch Inch and Loch Morlich have great 'beaches' and ospreys nest nearby. Mountain biking and pony-trekking are available nearby, as are canoeing, sailing and golf - if you want an active holiday in Scotland then this is a great place to stay. There are also plenty of castles and distilleries around so you can experience those quintessential things if you are on holiday in Scotland.

Accommodation:
The chalet has magnificent mountain views over the Cairngorms. The Ground floor has a sitting/dining room, one double bedroom and another with full-sized bunk beds. The bathroom is lovely and fully tiled. There is a separate kitchen with everything you will need. The conservatory is a great sun-trap and leads out to the patio area. Upstairs are two large bedrooms (furnished in natural pine) and a bright shower room.

If you are staying at Lynwood then you can use the Dalfaber Golf and Country Club at a special discounted rate: there is a children's club, swimming pool, sauna, gym and golf course. Unlimited access to the club cost £15/week, and £10 for children (under 5s free). This is a huge attraction and benefit if you are staying in this Aviemore holiday house.

The house is rented out year round.
Rental periods are generally a week, Saturday to Saturday, but short breaks and weekend breaks are welcome. Checking in time is 3pm and checking out is 10am.
