Neidpath Castle Cottage is a conversion of part of the ancient castle. It is now superbly comfortable and very easy to live in, being all on the same floor. Guests are always delighted by how light it is inside and what lovely views there are. Neidpath Castle is a central part of the history (an atmospheric, medieval castle) of this area and staying within its walls is very atmospheric and secluded. Nearby Peebles has a whole host of delicious shops and restaurants and is only a short walk along the River Tweed. Historic, unspoilt grounds and breathtaking scenery, as far as the eye can see. In this idyllic spot, overlooking the stunning valley of the River Tweed. You can walk half a mile along the river to Peebles and find shops, pubs and restaurants. Although this cottage sleeps 6, it is also wonderful for a romantic getaway for a couple.
