Accommodation:
The living accommodation is open plan, and the kitchen area is very well equipped with
an electric oven with grill, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster pans and cooking utensils.
There is a comfortable double sofa bed in the sitting/dining area, and chairs and table to accommodate 4 people.
The double bedroom has an ensuite shower room with power shower, basin, w.c and electric shaving point. There is ample cupboard and drawer space in the bedroom.
Huge attention is paid to detail making this recently renovated traditional Scottish
cottage stylish and comfortable.
There is ample car parking and it is possible to walk to Edinburgh’s trendy Leith,
in ten minutes, where you are spoilt for choice with bars and restaurants.
There is a regular Scottish bus service into Edinburgh city centre. Guests are welcome to use the large garden.
Directions:
From Edinburgh Airport: The airport is seven miles west of the city centre and costs around £17.00 to travel
to the cottage by taxi.
Edinburgh airport bus to Waverley Bridge beside the railway station and just off Princes Street,
costs £3.50 single/£5.00 open return.
A taxi from the train or bus station takes about eight minutes and should cost around £5.50.
Buses from the centre of Edinburgh heading east from Princes Street will bring you to within 200m of the cottage.

By Rail:
There are numerous mainline trains that will take you to Edinburgh Waverley or Edinburgh Haymarket stations, and a taxi ride is indicated above.
What's included:
All bed, bathroom and kitchen linen are provided. Duvets and covers, towels, and all cleaning materials, toilet paper and bin bags, central heating, hot water and electricity are all included in the rental price.
There are all manner of galleries, museums and places of interest in Edinburgh, and many pubs and restaurants to eat in.
There are an increasigly large selection of cafes and trendy food shops in Leith, just 10 minutes away.
There is a large supermarket and several local shops just 5 minutes drive from the cottage.

The cottage is rented out year round.
Rental periods are generally arrival 2.30pm and departure at 10.30am - every effort will be made to accommodate other times.
