Security Deposit
A security deposit of £150 will be taken on booking. This deposit is refundable, in whole or in part, after the property has been inspected after departure and cleaning, minus any damages incurred during your stay.
Management reserve the right to charge for extra cleaning if the property is not left in a tidy and clean condition, and extra cleaning is needed over and above usual.
Please adhere to correct waste and recycling disposal as charges may also be made if staff need to sort out dustbins, glass bins and recycling.

Rose Cottage enjoys a commanding view over a beautiful wooded valley close to Loch Sunart. It feels remote, but Strontian village with its well-stocked shop and cafe is only a 20 minute stroll through the woods. As well as the cafe, there are 3 places to eat within a short walk. The cottage is super comfortable and has every amenity, with good quality cookware including steamers. You can start the evening lolling outside in the hot tub with your glass of wine, enjoying the views across the valley, then settle down in front of the log burning stove. Chrissie provides a very useful welcome pack including home baked bread. Highly recommended!


Amazing 5* cottage!!! Fab holiday never wanted to leave!!


We stayed in Rose Cottage for a long weekend and never wanted to leave! The pictures don’t do this place justice, inside and out are just stunning.


Myself, Paul and our dog Ruby thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rose cottage. Firstly the house is kitted out with everything you need, the lovely owners really have thought of everything. Their attention to detail is what makes the place so special. Well that and the incredibly positioned hot tub! The owners provided a lovely warm welcome with a fresh baked loaf and some delicious homemade scones. Very romantic place to laze around and many beautiful walks and castles to visit and see. We would love to come back again! Truly worth the 5 stars.
